A live-streaming music platform for indie artists with 100K monthly users across mobile and web

WAV is a live-streaming music platform for indie artists with 100K monthly users.
I led its end-to-end UX/UI redesign, spanning UI design, interaction design, and user research across mobile and desktop.
Final Design: Mobile Home
Final Design: Mobile Home
We improved the mobile home by making live content more noticeable and easier to browse. Live thumbnails now auto-play with clearer stream information, and feed videos appear larger and more readable.

We designed distinct layouts for videos and playlists based on their different purposes and viewing behaviors.
The video viewer also incorporates WAV’s visual metaphor to create a more immersive streaming experience.

Final Design: Viewer vs Streamer Experience
Final Design: Viewer vs Streamer Experience
We refined the streamer interface so creators could monitor viewer feedback and stream information more easily on a small mobile screen. To encourage engagement, we also designed event messages and reactions that prompt viewers to interact during live streams.
